Science Fair




This year the 2016 Waikato Science Fair will be held from Friday 19th August to Saturday 20th August. The school Science Fair will be held before this on Friday 12th August so that students can have the opportunity to see your work before the regional competition.

When you are writing your procedure it is very important to be specific and write in great detail. Other scientists need to be able to recreate your experiment. Check that your procedure wouldn't make a sandwich like the one on the left below.

Your board needs to be completed and submitted on Tuesday 9th August. The School Science Fair is on Friday 12th August.
Remember you need to record EVERYTHING in your log book. Here is an example of good log book recording.

Displaying your information well is very important. There are lots of tips to help you ensure your information is clear and visually appealing.
